After reading great reviews both on Google and on Angie's List, I decided to give this place a try.The service both in the shop and in the office from this place is AMAZING. The guy in the office was clearly there for customer service, not car knowledge, which was in a way reassuring. Everything they did was explained very well, and they got authorization before any charges. If I had unlimited money, I would always get my car serviced, maintained, and repaired here. There is no better place. All of that said, their service comes at a price. In the end, my VW Jetta had a bad hose and a bad ignition coil. To find this out and replace it cost ~$700! That's because every little test they do is absurdly expensive. For example, pressure test for the coolant system. At Miami Quality -- $60, while my local mechanic only charged me $10 for the same service months later when another hose went out. It cost almost $200 in diagnostic fees before they were able to determine that it was the Ignition Coil. What's also silly is that if you search for common VW Jetta problems, a common failure is of the ignition coil, really that should have been the first thing to check. Also, they give you a package of marketing nonsense to read when you become a new customer. I don't care for gimmicks like joining some repair or car club, etc. Just give me the service at the best price you're willing to give.I'm not saying i'm dissatisfied, in fact this is the only place in Miami that I recommend unconditionally to those who know little about cars. I'm just saying you might get a little more bang for your buck somewhere else. Hey, you get what you pay for. And in this case you get excellent service!
